#GDP034? Wat betekent dat dan? GDP is de tag voor het Global Design Project en 034 is het nummer van deze uitdaging. Iedere week is er een uitdaging te vinden op de website van het Global Design Project. Soms ga je aan de slag aan de hand van een ‘sketch’, zoals deze keer. Maar er zijn ook kleur-, thema- en CASE-uitdagingen. Het is zo’n leuke manier om creatief aan de slag te gaan. Je wordt echt uitgedaagd om out-of-the-box te denken. Een andere geweldige bijkomstigheid is dat je jezelf iedere week weer kan laten inspireren door de creatieve projecten van anderen.

#GDP034? What does that mean? GDP is the tag for the Global Design Project and 034 is the number of this challenge. Every week there’s a challenge posted on the website of the Global Design Project. Sometimes you have to design your project based on a sketch, like this one, but there are also color, theme and CASE challenges. It’s such a fun way to be creative. You’re really challenged to think out-of-the-box. Another wonderful extra is that you can be inspired each week by all the creative projects from others.

MY project #GDP034

Deze week is er een sketch challenge ontworpen door Teneale Williams en het is de eerste keer dat ik het aandurf om mijn project ook daadwerkelijk in te sturen…

This week there’s a sketch challenge designed by Teneale Williams and it’s the first time that I have found enough courage to actually send in my project…

Voor dit project heb gewerkt met een aantal nieuwe producten. Dit is dus niet alleen mijn eerste Global Design Project, maar ook mijn eerste sneak peek met producten van de nieuwe jaarcatalogus!

Ik heb gebruik gemaakt van de Playful Backgrounds stempelset en deze m.b.v. een mask in een cirkel gestempeld met Tempting Turquoise en Pacific Point. Daarover heen zit een Peekaboo Peach swirl gemaakt met de Swirly Scribbles stansset. De tekst (Pacific Point) komt uit de stempelset Love & Affection. Als details heb ik wat White Perfect Accents toegevoegd, waarvan ik het witte laagje verwijderd heb, het lijken nu net waterdruppels.

For this project I worked with a couple of new products. So, this is nog just my first Global Design Project, but also my first sneak peek with products of the new annual catalog.

I used the Playful Backgrounds stamp set en stamped these in a circle with Tempting Turquoise and Pacific Point using a mask. On top of it there’s a Peekaboo Peach swirl made with the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. The sentiment (Pacific Point) comes from the Love & Affection stamp set. I added some White Perfect Accents as embellishment. I removed the white layer of the accents, so that they look like water drops now.

Ik ben heel blij met het eindresultaat. Het kaartje heeft een hele frisse uitstraling en ik word er gewoon vrolijk van. Hopelijk jij ook 🙂
