layering squares quadruple gate fold card

In de jaarcatalogus staan diverse sets met Layering Framelits: Vierkanten, Cirkels, Ovalen en Harten. Deze sets zijn zo ontzettend handig! Voor het Spotlight project van vandaag heb ik de Layering Squares als uitgangspunt genomen en er een viervoudige gate fold kaart mee gemaakt.

In the annual catalog are several sets of Layering Framelits: Squares, Circles, Ovals and Hearts. These sets are so incredibly handy! For today’s Spotlight project I took the Layering Squares as the starting point and made a quadruple gate fold card with them.

Vanwege het regenachtige weer toen ik deze kaart maakt heb ik gekozen voor warme, herfstachtige kleuren. De basis is Chocolate Chip en ik heb gekozen voor een vintage/distressed uitstraling.

Because of the Fall-like weather when I made this card, I chose for warm, Autumny colors. The base is Chocolate Chip and I chose for a vintage/distressed look.

Wanneer je de kaart sluit dan heb je een eenvoudig uitziende vierkante kaart van 10 x 10 cm. Eerst heb ik het voorpaneel gestempeld met de In this World en Timeless Textures stempelsets. Ook heb ik de randen gesponsd. Daarna heb ik het paneel met de layering squares gestanst en om en om op de basiskaart geplakt.

When you close the card then you have a simple looking square card of 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 inches. First, I stamped the front panel with the In this World and Timeless Textures stamp sets. I also sponged the edges. After that I cut the panel with the layering squares and pasted them one after the other on the base card.
