Let’s celebrate!
Today, we’re celebrating the fact that the talented Kelly Kent, Australia, has been a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator for 5 years! How awesome is that?
Kelly’s stamping friends from all over the world are participating in this blog hop. You’re now with me, Danielle Bennenk (Mrs. Brightside) from the Netherlands. I’ve only just ‘met’ Kelly a couple of months ago as we’re both part of the Stamping Sunday blog hop design team. I’m very excited to be in this blog hop where we feature projects with the overall theme: Fun & Celebration.
large letter fun
I took the theme of the blog hop quite literally by featuring the word ‘FUN’ on both my cards. First, I created backgrounds with the fun Sweet Cupcake stamp set and the brand spanking new This Little Piggy stamp set (available as of tomorrow!). Then I cut the word ‘FUN’ out using the Large Letters framelits. To add extra dimension I cut out the word several times more from colored cardstock.

I love, love, love how you have raised the word and then stamped over it also!!
I would love to know how you get the image so perfect across each layer?
Just stunning!!
Hi Jo, I first stamped the images on the background and then I die cut the word.

Danielle you continue to inspire and amaze me. I love these. Such a clever idea and they are so effective.
Are the letters cut out of the same piece you stamped? Lovely cards.
Hi Pam,
That is correct. I did the background first and then cut out the letters.
Thank you for the compliment.
Danielle
