happy stamping Sunday!
A happy Stamping Sunday to you and thank you for visiting my blog. Today, it’s time for another Stamping Sunday blog hop and this month we feature the Lots of Happy card kit and Perennial Birthday Project Kit. Our guest hopper this month is Dani Dziama and I’m really looking forward to see what she’s made.
As I’ve been really busy preparing for our annual Creative Stampin’ Weekend, I’ve made two small projects this time.
Happy Stamping Sunday en een dank je wel voor je bezoek aan mijn blog. Vandaag is het weer tijd voor een Stamping Sunday bloghop en deze maand staan de kaartenkits Lots of Happy en Perennial Birthday centraal. Onze gast hopper is Dani Dziama en ik ben zeer benieuwd wat ze gemaakt heeft.
Aangezien ik zeer druk geweest ben met de voorbereidingen voor ons jaarlijkse Creative Stampin’ Weekend, heb ik dit keer maar twee kleine projecten gemaakt.
Lots of Happy card kit
I chose to work with both kits today. My first project is made with the Lots of Happy Card Kit (see the video above). I combined the embellishments of the tiniest card from the kit with a cute little notebook I bought at a local store.
The pale lilac color of the notebook fits so well with the beautiful flower diecuts, which I colored with Stampin’ Write Markers (Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Lemon Lime Twist, Pear Pizzazz and Wisteria Wonder).
Ik heb er voor gekozen om met beide kits te werken vandaag. Mijn eerste project is gemaakt met de Lots of Happy Card Kit (zie de video hierboven). Ik heb de embellishments van het kleinste kaartje uit de kit gecombineerd met een schattig notitieboekje dat ik gekocht heb bij de Hema.
De lichte lila kleur van het notitieboekje past prachtig bij de mooie bloemen embellishments, die ik gekleurd heb met Stampin’ Write Markers (Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Lemon Lime Twist, Pear Pizzazz en Wisteria Wonder).
Perennial birthday 3×3″ card box
For my second little project I used the Perennial Birthday Project Kit. This kit has an awesome storage box with tabbed dividers and material to make 16 birthday cards. I used one of the base cards from the kit to create a little box that fits 3 3×3″ cards.
Voor mijn tweede projectje heb ik de Perennial Birthday Project Kit gebruikt. Deze kit heeft een super leuk bewaardoosje met tabbladen en materiaal om maar liefst 16 kaarten te maken. Een van de basiskaarten uit de kit heb ik omgetoverd tot een doosje waar 3 3×3″ (7,5 x 7,5 cm) kaartjes in passen.
I got the idea from this project by Rachel Tessman (project is shown around the 9 min. mark in the video) and I adapted it to make it with a card instead of designer series paper. When I have the time, I’ll write up a short tutorial.
The flap of the little box is one of the labels from the project kit. I’m loving those gorgeous flowers!
Het idee van dit project komt van een filmpje van Rachel Tessman (project wordt getoond rond het 9 minuten punt in de video) en ik heb het aangepast door het te maken met een kaart i.p.v. designer series papier. Als ik tijd heb, zal ik een kort tutorial schrijven.
De sluiting van het kleine doosje is een van de labels van de project kit. Ik ben helemaal verliefd op die mooie bloemen!
With the very versatile Perennial Birthday stamp set I stamped three similar 3×3″ cards and added some mini envelopes. Then I tied them together with some of the Dapper Denim Baker’s Twine from the kit and put them in the little box.
Met de erg veelzijdige Perennial Birthday stempelset heb ik drie dezelfde 3×3″ kaartjes gestempeld en er wat mini envelopjes aan toegevoegd. Ik heb alles samen gebonden met wat Dapper Denim Baker’s Twine uit de kit en heb de kaartjes in het doosje gestopt.
