Technique workshop
Vandaag is het de tweede zaterdag van de maand en dan organiseren Hilde en ik altijd onze workshop. De thema’s van onze workshops rouleren:
- Kaartenbuffet
- Thema workshop
- Techniek workshop
Deze maand is het weer tijd voor een techniek workshop en deze keer staan diverse embossing technieken centraal: Double Embossing en Color Embossing. Ook kunnen de dames vandaag voor het eerst oefenen met de Stamparatus! Bekijk het onderstaande filmpje als je wilt weten wat de Stamparatus is 🙂
Today, it’s the second Saturday of the month and that’s the day Hilde and I always have our workshop. The themes of our workshops rotate:

- Technique workshop
This month it’s time for our technique workshop and this time we feature several embossing techniques: Double Embossing and Color Embossing. Our ladies can also practice for the first time with the Stamparatus today! Just watch the video below to see what the Stamparatus is all about 🙂
double embossing
De eerste kaart is gemaakt met de double embossing techniek, klik hier om te zien hoe dit in z’n werk gaat. De basiskaart is Sweet Sugarplum en de Whisper White mat is dus double embossed m.b.v. de Quilt Top embossing folder en de Lots of Labels stansset.
Vervolgens is de kaart afgemaakt met orchideeën (Climbing Orchid bundle) en een mooie tekst uit de Nederlandse set: De Mooiste Momenten.
The first card is made with the double embossing technique, click here to see how that works. The base card is Sweet Sugarplum and the Whisper White mat is double embossed using the Quilt Top embossing folder and the Lots of Labels framelits.
Then the card is finished off with orchids (Climbing Orchid bundle) and a beautiful sentiment from the Dutch version of the Special Celebrations stamp set.
color embossing
Bij de tweede kaart hebben de dames de Fluttering embossing folder ingekleurd met sponge daubers en frisse lentekleuren: Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise en Wild Wasabi. Vervolgens wordt de mat in de embossing folder gelegd en door de Big Shot gehaald. Het resultaat zie je hieronder.
For the second card the ladies colored the Fluttering embossing folder with sponge daubers and fresh Spring colors: Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach, Melon Mambo, Tempting Turquoise and Wild Wasabi. Then you put the mat in the embossing folder and run it through the Big Shot. You’ll see the result below.

De laatste kaart is gecased van de fantastische Monica Gale en de dames kunnen uitgebreid oefenen met de Stamparatus. Wat is dat toch een geweldige stempeltool! Ik ben helemaal verliefd…
The last card is CASE’d from the fantastic Monica Gale and the ladies can practice their little heart out with the Stamparatus. Boy, that stamp tool is the bomb! I’m completely smitten with it…
Workshops
