Project gallery

Today, I’m showing some of the projects I have made since I started stamping  (September 2015) and became an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator (October 2015).

With this project gallery I’m applying to become an ‘On Stage Display Board Stamper’ at the On Stage event in Amsterdam on April 16th, 2016.

Thank you in advance for your consideration 🙂

Scrap lay-out

I have made this scrap lay-out around an old picture of me and my mom. I have used 12″ x 12″ Perfectly Artistic DSP in Soft Sky. The background was stamped in the colors Soft Sky and Pool Party. I used the Timeless Textures stamp set and the butterfly came from the Grateful Bunch stamp set. In addition, I layered a paper doily with some metallic glitter and Everyday Chic designer washi tape. I added a rose from the Rose Garden thinlits in Pool Party.

Behind the picture I used a piece of Going Places DSP. I stamped the sentiment with Archival black on a Project Life grid card and cut a banner out of it, which I attached with two staples. I used the black sticker letters from the Memories in the Making Project Life Accessory Pack to add the word: Mama.

Last but not least, I added some Iced Rhinestone embellishments.

3D Items

Item 1

I love, just love, to embellish notebooks and as soon as I saw the Botanical Gardens product suite I knew I would embellish a notebook with it. For this project I used a store bought notebook and created a front cover using some Botanical Gardens DSP and some black glimmer paper (I hope it’s coming back in the annual catalogue, because I love it). I then added a flower collage, some Hello Honey striped cotton ribbon, a banner with a sentiment from the Enjoy the little things stamp set and some embellishments.

Een simpel notebook met een gepimpte kaft. Twee soorten DSP met de gestanste bloemen, Hello Honey cotton ribbon en het 'Love this life' sentiment komt van de nieuwe 'Enjoy the little things' stempelset.

Item 2

This item I made for the Valentine blog hop of our team ‘de Creatieve harten’. It’s a small matchbox made with the envelope punch board. The little box  contains a small card, a bag of tea and some chocolates. The project was made with Shine On Specialty DSP. I used the Sparkle & Shine and the Memories in the Making stamp set.

Card fronts

Since the beginning of this year I’m featuring products of Stampin’ Up! in a spotlight segment on my blog. Every week I put a certain product in the Spotlight and show 3 projects I have made with that particular product in blog posts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The card fronts I’m showing here were all featured in the Spotlight segment.

Card 1

What I love dag 2

This card features the What I love stamp set. I created a water color background (Watermelon wonder, Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight) on which I stamped the flowers with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used a mask to create the composition of the flowers. The sentiment comes from the A whole lof of lovely hostess stamp set. The card base is Basic Black cardstock.

Card 2

Awesomely Artistic project 1

This card I made with one of my favourite stamp sets: Awesomely Artistic. I used Whisper White and Mossy Meadow cardstock and ink in Cajun Craze, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow. As embellishments I used Botanical Gardens Designer Washi tape, an Expression Natural Element (Congrats) and gold sequins. The sentiment was stamped by using Stampin’ write markers in the colors Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow.

Card 3

Spotlight Project 2 Rose Garden

Card base is Tangerine Tango with a mat of Whisper White stamped with Archival Black.  The background was made by using the Brush strokes stamp. On top I glued the large rose of the Rose Garden thinlits. I added three layers of roses together to create dimension. The coloring on the rose was done with an aqua painter using the colors: Pear Pizzazz, Wild Wasabi, Calypso Coral, Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry and So Saffron. The sentiment comes from the Pedal Pusher stamp set and is mounted on a Washi label tag. Gold sequins add some glimmer.

Bonus card

I really wanted to add this card, but because it’s not a standard card size, I’m adding it as a bonus card 🙂

It’s a card in an envelope pouch made with the envelope punch board. It is, without a doubt, my favourite card ever. I used my most loved color combo: Lost Lagoon (I hate it that it will soon be discontinued 🙁 ), Delightful Dijon, Black, Very Vanilla and Kraft paper. And of course, I used Awesomely Artistic.

Awesomely Artistic project 3 1

The card in the pouch. I made a belly band using Lost Lagoon cardstock and a strip of Typeset Specialty DSP.

Awesomely Artistic project 3 dragonfly

Detail of the belly band. With the dragon fly and its pearl body on a vellum 2,5″ circle. Underneath there’s a 2,5″ circle in Very Vanilla which I stamped with flowers in black ink. The flowers are colored in using a blender pen and the colors: Lost Lagoon, Soft Sky and Delightful Dijon.

Awesomely artistic project 3 inside card

The inside card is mounted on a piece of Kraft paper. I stamped the flowers once more and colored them with the blender pens. I added some tiny Pearls to some of the flower hearts. The sentiment was stamped in Archival Black and I embellished the top of the card with Lost Lagoon cardstock, Typeset Specialty DSP and a piece of Hello Honey Striped Cotton Ribbon.

Thank you

I would like to thank you for visiting my blog and I hope you enjoyed the projects I showed you in this project gallery.
